Carol is the Practice Manager at the edge partnership and is also Executive Assistant to the Managing Partner.

A keen Toastmaster since 2010, Carol competed in the Area International Speaking Contest after winning her club contest in February 2011 and March 2012.  She was presented with Chatswood Communicators ‘Toastmaster of the Year’, ‘Best Speaker’ and ‘Most Won Assignments’ in 2011.

Carol is a natural when it comes to communication, people skills and client service.  “I believe professionalism, open communication and integrity, together with a positive attitude, is the key to success”.  She has spoken at a number of business conferences and seminars.

An experienced trainer and presenter with a passion to provide outstanding service, she produced a series of training manuals including Exceptional Telephone Etiquette, Exceptional Client/Customer Service and Effective Communication in preparation for the inception of her own training company in 2001.  Carol has delivered these programs to numerous organisations throughout Australia, gaining diverse industry experience.

With keen business acumen and enthusiasm for a challenge she instigated, organised and held an exclusive art exhibition in Sydney 2002 on behalf of a UK artist of international repute after launching her second company, Art & Sold.

Carol pursued a drastic career change in 1995 following a four year contract in Saudi Arabia (working for the Ministry of Defence and Aviation) and subsequently secured roles as Sales Executive, Administration Manager, HR support, Network Services/Procurement Manager and Trainer/Presenter.

Other interesting facts about Carol include strong entrepreneurial tendancies, having set up two companies so far; she is a stickler for details and has recently taken up competitive boxing.

Carol was born and raised in the UK.  She has two teenage daughters, a menagerie of pets, exercises regularly, loves travel, music, reading and catching up with good friends.
